The Old Sunday School Room

Sleeping 4-6, this charming dog friendly holiday cottage is just over 2 miles from the village of Trecastle. The Victorian Sunday school conversion is perfect for couples, families or friends wishing  to explore the western end of the Brecon Beacons. Relax in a cosy, yet surprisingly roomy retreat with all mod cons, enjoying original features and the all important log burning stove.

The cottage is a great base for a number of activities. The Usk Reservoir, a short drive away, is an excellent fishing centre and offers a circular forestry walk. Visitors will love taking in stunning views and observing wildlife in a natural habitat. It is also home to a Dark Sky Discovery Site, said to be the darkest spot in Europe for star gazing. Walks from the door of the cottage are plentiful so there is no need to move the car.
