We are delighted to announce (after a slight time-lapse due to COVID issues amongst the members) that the winner of our UUVG Advent Window competition in Defynnog & Sennybridge in December last year was Louise, David & Llew – No. 6 on the route. Their window was a worthy winner, with 54.5% of the votes in her favour.
They have been rewarded with a Cheese Lovers Gift Box from the Welsh Cheese Company. A delighted winner, Louise said:
“We loved being involved so thank you, it was such a joyous part of Christmas for us and a wonderful way for the community to come together.”
The Advent Window competition, the food bank collection, the Christmas Tree in Defynnog and the carols around the tree made this year very special to many people. The UUVG hope to repeat these events and extend them to the other villages in our area in the future.
